Mini Bacon Burger Skewers

This neater and more elegant version of a burger proves that size doesn't matter at all when it comes to whoppers. Enjoy them dipped in mayo, ketchup and BBQ sauce.

Mini Bacon Burger Skewers
Ingredients for Mini Bacon Burger Bites:
Bread - 1 loaf (any of your choice)
Lettuce - 3 leaves
Cheddar cheese - 3-4 slices
Bacon - 4-5 strips
Ground beef - 1 lbs.
Garlic powder - 1 tsp.
Onion powder - 1 tsp.
Ground black pepper - to taste
Salt - to taste
Worcestershire sauce - 1 1/2 tbsp.
Method of preparing the Mini Bacon Burger Bites:
  1. Cut round pieces of the bread using a circular object, such as the top of the salt shaker. You will need two slices for each burger.
  2. Cut the lettuce and cheese into squares, roughly the same size as the bread, and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  3. Fry the bacon slices until they are crispy and cut them to roughly the same size as the bread.
  4. To make the burgers, place the ground beef in a bowl and add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and ground black pepper. Combine everything together, then form mini meatballs from the mixture (consider the size of the bread here too). Pan-fry the mini burgers for a couple of minutes on each side, until cooked as much as desired.
  5. Now, stack all ingredients on the stick, starting with the bread, on which you can spread some mayonnaise. Add some pieces of lettuce, a piece of bacon, the mini burger (with an optional touch of BBQ sauce), a slice of cheese, another slice of bread, and top it off with half a cherry tomato.
Chef's Tip:
Serve with the classic BBQ sauce, mayo and ketchup trio.
