This is exactly why the graphic designer and artist Irina Blok decided to create an ongoing series of lighthearted “before and after” illustrations that showcase how our everyday lives have been transformed by the Covid-19 pandemic - often in similar ways.
In these humorous pictures, she takes a seemingly minor detail and gives it a comical twist that reflects this “new normal” life of ours… Little did we know, we have more shared experiences by staying indoors and away from other people than we ever thought, and that thought is somehow very reassuring!
