15 of Nadia Tolstoy's Best Illustrated Puns

Ever noticed the toe in "potato"?  Ever notices the cat in "caterpillar"? Well, Sweden-based Nadia Tolstoy couldn't help but notice when she first heard those words. She's not even an illustrator nor an artist - she's an architect - but in her spare time, she does illustrate children's books. This gave her a new, playful angle on language learning, and she made a full series of doodles that visually communicate literal meanings and puns she found in the English language. Enjoy!
