An important piece of Soviet military history is located in a town called Kubinka, in the Moscow Oblast region of Russia. The Kubinka Tank Museum gives some fascinating insight into the war machines that the Soviets were building from the Second World War through to the end of the Cold War. There are so many tanks and armored vehicles on display that there isn't enough room for them all in the museum itself! The museum welcomes some 70,000 visitors a year, but here's your very own virtual tour of what can be seen there:

Outside the museum, you'll find an ASU-57 assault gun.
