It took about 50 artists, 5 years, and several tons of scrap steel, and it's finally here: a collection of luxury sports cars replicas made entirely out of scrap metal. This project was worth every drop of sweat; it showcases, among other models, a "Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, a Bugatti Veyron, a Maserati GranTurismo, and a Lamborghini Aventador" (source), all with functioning doors and fully designed interiors. The material is steel that came strictly from the local scrapyard.
The collection is showcased right now in the Gallery of Steel Figures in Pruszków, Poland. If you chance to visit, you're in for a special treat: visitors can take photos and even climb inside the cars! Apart from the cars, there are also models and sculptors of characters and animals from fairy tales, science fiction movies, and fantasy worlds. In total, there are 70 sculptors in this exhibition.
