Aesthetics and plating are as important a part of any fine dining experience as the food itself. Creativity plays a major role in this, of course, ensuring the colors of each dish are perfectly paired and laid out gloriously for the eater. Unfortunately, a colorful and unique idea does not necessarily make a good plate.
