18 Award-Winning Wildlife Photos From the GDT Photo Awards

The Society of German Nature Photographers (GDT) recently announced the winners of the ‘European Wildlife Photographer of the Year' competition they carry out every year, and we're super excited to share them with you. This year’s voting process was somewhat different, as the COVID-19 pandemic made the judges select the most distinguished pieces online instead of the typical official ceremony. Still, the votes are in, and of the 5.000 entries collected across 7 categories, this year’s winner is a photo of a surprised hare in a field by the German photographer Peter Lindel.
