Many, if not most, ancient artifacts are really showing their age. A crack here and there, fading colors, and missing parts are all too common findings in antiques, which sadly leaves a lot to the viewer's imagination. This cannot be said about the immaculately preserved relics we’re about to share with you. All 23 of them are in mint condition! So if you always really wanted to see what 2 thousand-year-old earrings, bracelets, glass jars, and other items looked like in detail, you will really enjoy looking through these pictures!
1. Here is a beautiful 16th-century Nautilus cup made from a shell and decorated with gold from The Netherlands.
2. This set of gold earrings was made in Ancient Greece around 300 BC, and they're still immaculate!
3. Maximilian I, the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, ordered his servants to create gold and silver armor as a present for his 12-year-old grandson in 1512. Unfortunately, it was never worn, as by the time it was finished, the boy grew out of the armor.
4. This is a bronze cat statuette from circa 332-30 BC. Ancient Egyptians believed that mummifying their pets would ensure that they are reunited in the afterlife.
5. This ancient Egyptian cosmetic spoon was made circa 1390-1352 BC. It depicts a swimming woman. The antelope-shaped lid of the spoon could be opened to retrieve the cosmetics stored inside.
10. A headdress made of silver, turquoise, and carnelian, likely from Iran, (circa 19th- early 20th century). Turkmen women would wear headdresses like these before they were married.

12. This cat-shaped drinking horn dates back to the 1st century BC.
13. Veiled Lady by Raffaelo Monti (19th century, marble statue)
14. This is a 14th-century aquamanile that shows Samson fighting a lion. Aquamaniles are vessels made for hand-washing.
15. A 7th-century ewer with a cat-shaped handle and a mouth that looks like two birds
16. This gold bracelet from Byzantium is more than 1,600 years old!
17. This Indian mortar is shaped like a tiger, and it dates back to the 18th century.
18. A pair of perfectly preserved ear ornaments created by the Moche culture of Peru between 400-700 AD.
19. A silver tea set, complete with a kettle, burner, table, and a removable tabletop (18th century).
20. Prior to the invention of buttons, pins like these called fibulae were used to fasten clothes. These specific items are from the 6th century (top) and 250-200 BC (bottom).
21. Here's an Ancient Greek gold armband from the 2-3 century BC. In the middle, it features a Herakles knot, which was said to bring luck and have wound-healing powers.
22. Believe it or not, this blue glass jar is from Ancient Rome, and it's about 2 thousand years old!
23. This wooden sculpture of an Egyptian priest was made 4,500 years ago. The lifelike eyes of the sculpture were made of rock crystal and copper.
