One Really Cheap & Easy Way to Clean a Stovetop

While many people prefer to use gas stoves, I for one am absolutely in love with my smooth glass stovetop. I find that it makes my life so much easier, especially when it comes to cleaning. It's also a lot more cost-effective to clean if you follow this one simple method:

Step 1Stovetop Cleaning
Fill your sink with warm water and add some soap to it. Then, place a dish towel in the water, making sure that it becomes thoroughly wet.
Step 2Stovetop Cleaning
Sprinkle baking soda all over your stovetop, making sure to add additional layers to particularly dirty areas.
Step 3Stovetop Cleaning
Remove the dish towel from the sink and wring it out slightly, so that it isn't completely dripping wet. Then, lay it over the surface of the stovetop.

Step 4Stovetop Cleaning
Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 5Stovetop Cleaning
Once it has rested for 15 minutes, use the towel to wipe down and clean the entire surface. Then, rinse the dish towel with some water to get rid of the baking soda.
Step 6Stovetop Cleaning

Now, use a dry towel to dry the stovetop. If you still have any dirt left on your stovetop, then a little bit of water and vinegar is bound to get it off.

Make sure you share this useful technique with everyone you know!
