Old Bay Steamed Shrimp

Note: Old Bay is an American seasoning blend that’s used to season shrimp, crab, clam chowder, and other seafood dishes. You can find it in most grocery stores in the spices aisle in the US.

Ingredients for Old Bay Steamed Shrimp:
Water - 2 cups
Salted butter - 1 tbsp.
Old Bay seasoning - 3 tbsp.
Lemon - 1/2 (sliced into wedges)
Shrimp - 1 1/2 lb. (shell and tail on and deveined)
Method of preparing the Old Bay Steamed Shrimp:
  1. Add the water, butter, apple cider vinegar, Old Bay, and lemon to a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Next, add the shrimp and reduce the heat to a simmer. Now cook for 3 minutes until shrimp is opaque. Keep stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon. Serve immediately.
