China is an enormous country. It is the fourth largest country in the world by area. So no one would be surprised to learn that the diversity of the Chinese landscape is as vast as, let’s say, that of the United States. However, it is only when you see these landscapes stacked side by side that you realize the true extent of the contrast and admire the full range of natural features of China.
Travel photographer Florian Delalee, who has lived in Shangai for the past 12 years, decided to showcase the beauty of China’s remotest areas in his aerial photo series called The Beauty of China From the Air was born. The French photographer spent the entire year of 2020 traveling through Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Tibet, and many other Chinese provinces, photographing the most picturesque landscapes he could find with his drone.
