Ingredients for snack:
Granny smith apple - 2 (quartered)
Unsalted butter - as needed
Sunflower seeds - 1/2 cup (pumpkin seeds work as well)
Strawberry - 3 (sliced)
Candy eyes - 16
Method of preparing the snack:
  1. Slice out the middles of each apple quarter and fill them with butter (alternatively, you can use caramel, for a sweeter taste).
  2. Stick 4 seeds into the top of the cavity, so as to make the monster's mouth. Place a slice of strawberry inside the mouth, as a tongue that sticks out.
  3. Use a dab of butter to stick the candy eye into place.
