In Nature, Many Cute Creatures Come In Twos!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Closeup Photographer of the Year contest held a challenge that celebrates the power of love and camaraderie. The title of the challenge is “two of a kind,” and all sorts of closeup, macro-photography, and micro-photography images depicting two animals or plants were accepted to participate. The winning image depicts a heartwarming moment of two European ground squirrels holding onto a poppy as they touch noses and look into each other’s eyes - how romantic!
