Do you know why we absolutely LOVE street art? It's not only because of the beautiful and creative ways that it expresses itself, or the fact that it is given to a community for free. It's mainly because street art happens mostly in poor parts of cities, where the streets are usually in disrepair, ugly and breaking down, full of holes in the cement, rusty devices no longer used, and cracks in every wall. Creative street art takes these imperfections, these eye sores, and integrates them into a new art form, a painting, a sculpture, a mosaic. It gives color where color is needed, art where art rarely appears. That is why we just love street art, especially as creative as these! |
