Julia Las is a 31-year-old artist from Ukraine. She started making watercolor miniatures in her late twenties when she worked in an office all day and didn’t have enough time to create anything larger. She grew very fond of this process of putting a lot of detail into tiny spaces, and now, miniatures are her passion.
None of her paintings are larger than 3 cm in length, and it’s a new challenge for her every time she creates something new. When she paints, she feels like a jeweler who is cutting a diamond, as she has no room for error.
