Apple and Pear White Sangria

This bright and refreshing sangria with freshly-squeezed lemon juice and plenty of lemon zest is full of flavor. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving and serve each glass with plenty of wine-soaked fruit.

Ingredients for Apple and Pear White Sangria:
Moscato wine - 1 bottle
Lemon liqueur - 1/2 cup
Lemons - 2 (zest and juice)
Granulated sugar - 1/4 cup
Granny smith apple - 1 (cored, halved, and thinly sliced)
Pear - 1 (cored, halved, and thinly sliced)
Seltzer - 1 can (12 oz)
Method of preparing the Apple and Pear White Sangria:
  1. In a large pitcher, combine wine, lemon liqueur, lemon zest, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice, apple slices, and pear slices and mix well.
  2. Place pitcher in the refrigerator for 4 hours to chill and allow flavors to blend. Just before serving, top sangria off with seltzer.
  3. You can also strain sangria after chilling to remove the lemon zest if desired.
