Japanese artist Lito has turned an ordinary object—a fallen leaf—into an extraordinary canvas for his art. Using nothing more than a sharp scalpel and his vivid imagination, Lito carves delicate, intricate designs that transform leaves into playful, detailed scenes. From animals and landscapes to whimsical patterns, each leaf tells its own story.
What makes his art even more remarkable is its fragility. While leaves are delicate, Lito manages to keep them intact, creating stunning silhouettes. He began this unique practice in 2020 as a way to manage his ADHD, and it quickly became a daily ritual.
