Every year, the Sony World Photography Awards bring us the most awe-inspiring photos from around the globe, and 2017's freshly announced winners will definitely leave you speechless. The competition gives out awards for four different categories: Professional (body of work), open (single images), youth (photographers aged 12-19), and student focus. Furthermore, National Awards are also presented to one photo from each participating country. Depending on the category in question, winners take home cash prizes, Sony digital imaging equipment, and the opportunity to have their photo published in an exhibition. Sony's 2017 exhibition for the winning photographs will take place in London.
