Germany is full of famous and spectacular places. It’s a country steeped in rich history, culture, and natural beauty; you will never be short of things to see here – from stunning castles and cathedrals to quaint medieval towns and villages.

1. Buses in Germany display a coffee cup sign when the driver is taking a little break.
2. When there's a traffic jam on the road in Germany, cars often stay closer to the sides to create an emergency corridor.
3. The major train stations in Germany have Braille information for platforms and a stair count on the top and bottom of the handrails.
4. A shopping cart cleaning machine! This would be so handy everywhere in current times.

15. The Waldspirale is an unusual German apartment building that hosts almost as many trees as human occupants. Designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser this huge spiraled building is topped with an incredible forest where beech, maple, and lime trees grow on its roof!
