Germany is full of famous and spectacular places. It’s a country steeped in rich history, culture, and natural beauty; you will never be short of things to see here – from stunning castles and cathedrals to quaint medieval towns and villages.

15. The Waldspirale is an unusual German apartment building that hosts almost as many trees as human occupants. Designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser this huge spiraled building is topped with an incredible forest where beech, maple, and lime trees grow on its roof!
