Rice Cooker Sausage Jambalaya

Blessed with the culinary influences of American Creole and Cajun cultures, this Jambalaya sausage dish is made to be easily cooked by your rice cooker, and only takes a little preparation and a few ingredients for a fast and easy red meat meal that has an incredible taste.

Rice Cooker Sausage Jambalaya
Ingredients:
Water - 1/2 cup
French onion soup - 1/2 cup
Smoked sausage - 1/2 pound (thinly sliced)
Tomatoes - 1 can (diced, undrained)
Method of Preparation:
  1. Mix all of the ingredients in your rice cooker. Switch on the heat, using the regular rice setting.
  2. Turn the heat on once again. It should cook for a shorter cycle this time around. When done, let it rest for around 10 minutes.
  3. Stir and check the rice to make sure that it's been properly cooked. If not, add around 2 tbsp water, and turn the heat on once again.
