Harvest moon is an old term, mostly it refers to big, orange moons that sometimes seem just on the horizon. Red moons may foretell a bloody year or the end of the world (by some sources) - it's a trick of the light though. Full moons and lunar eclipses were usually a sign for locals to get crazy - hence 'La Luna' moon and the word lunatic. Then there are blue moons as well. Our moon has many sides to it, and beautiful in each one. This is truly a stunning photo series that we fell in love with immediately, it made us feel like going out and begin to howl... |
