Bats have a bad reputation. People think that they will fly in their hair, suck their blood, or give them rabies. While there might be a grain of truth in the blood feeding and rabies (only three species of bats feed on blood, while less than 1% of bats carry the rabies virus), they are certainly not bothered about flying in your hair, and they’d much rather eat a slice of yummy fruit or some insects.
