The bone-chilling cold snap that's gripping much of North America shows no signs of abating, and it's causing chaos on the continent's roads, causing festivities to be canceled, entire school districts to be closed and even airport runways having to shut down. Nevertheless, it hasn't stopped people from breaking out their smartphones and taking some truly incredible photographs:
