The tiny yet mystical Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan isn’t a popular destination in the west but should be. Tucked away between India and China, Bhutan is fondly called the “Switzerland of Asia” in the sub-continent. The picturesque country is known for breathtaking landscapes, unique architecture, legendary ancient temples, and fortresses. The people here have a strong faith in Tibetan Buddhism and lead a simple, happy, and peaceful life.

Located on the eastern edge of the Himalayas, Bhutan is at a high altitude and the sceneries you will encounter here are full of mystique and wonder. It’s one of the best places to visit if you're looking for an unperturbed and rejuvenating vacation.
