Beautiful Nature Photography by Jenn Wong

In the words of Susan Sontag: "Photography is an eclectic art, a twilight art. Most subjects photographed are, just by virtue being photographed, touched with pathos. An ugly or grotesque subject may be moving because it has been dignified by the attention of the photographer. A beautiful subject can be the object of rueful feelings because it has aged or decayed or no longer exists. All photographs are 'memento mori'. To take a photograph is to participate in another person's (or thing's) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time's relentless melt."
 
These words, taken from her book called 'On Photography', photographer Jenn Wong is inspired by Susan's words. For Wong, photography is a way to slice out the moment and freeze it. She used photography as a means to self-heal and discovered that getting closer to nature helper her a lot. Wong is a fine art photographer from Malaysia. Take a look at her fascinating work:
