Photographer Vyacheslav Mishchenko, residing in the Ukraine, has an amazing eye for the small wonders of the natural world. I've previously posted his marvelous snail series. In his photos, he captures a world that seems to float somewhere between fantasy and biology, eco-system and magic, as he takes photos of tiny animals and beautiful mushrooms on the forest floor. He describes these surroundings as inducing joy and tranquility, a sense of rightness with the world.
