Beetroot Baked Chips

Beet chips are a healthy and delicious substitute for potato chips or fries that are sure to win over any guests you’re having. Even people who dislike the taste of beets will like them. If your chips are ready before the baking time, take them out as beets are prone to browning.

Beetroot Baked Chips
Ingredients for beet chips:
Beets - 2
Olive oil - as needed
Salt and Pepper - as needed
Rosemary leaves - as needed
Method of preparing the beet chips:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C), place racks in the center.
  2. Slice beets into thin slices using a sharp knife or (preferably) a mandoline.
  3. Drizzle the slices lightly with some olive oil and sprinkle salt, pepper and rosemary on top. Arrange on baking sheets in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 10-20 minutes. Check that they haven't browned and flip them for another 10-15 minutes. Once they're dried and curled at the edges, but not yet brown, they're ready.
