Tootsie Roll Candies

Homemade tootsie rolls! Need I say more? These are a true delight, and if you've somehow never tried them, we hope this recipe will help! We challenge you to try these and see if you can make them taste like the original ones.

Ingredients for tootsie rolls:
Honey - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp.
Butter - 1 tbsp. (melted)
Salt - a pinch
Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
Milk powder - 3/4 cup
Method of preparing the tootsie rolls:
  1. Mix all ingredients, apart from the sugar and milk powder, in one bowl.
  2. Next, add the powdered sugar and whisk through. Add the milk powder in batches, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring after each batch.
  3. Knead the batter until it becomes brown and slightly sticky. Let sit 10 minutes.
  4. Rub a knife with butter and cut the batter into small shapes. Shape them as needed to make a toffee shape.
  5. You can wrap them in parchment. Keep in the fridge.
