Many of us spend the whole week looking forward to the weekend when we can change the atmosphere, get out into the open spaces of nature and see landscapes and animals that remind us what a wonderful world we have. Unfortunately, we don’t always have the time or opportunity to see all the wonders that exist in nature, especially animals like lions, gorillas and elephants that simply do not live naturally in Israel. But nature and photography lovers from all over the world submitted photos to the Nature Photographer of the Year competition so that every one of us can get a little taste of amazing animals and landscapes, anywhere and at any time.
