Bernhard Lang is a Munich-based photographer that enjoys exploring organic geometrical patterns that occur naturally in nature and our surroundings. He found that shooting from above helps create a 2-dimensional illusion that looks like a repeatitive pattern. Here we shared a little taste of three of his aerial photoshoots.
The first is a photoshoot is that of an aircraft boneyard in Tucson. All aircraft are grouped by model, but some are in pristine condition while others are either rusting or have been fully taken apart.

This aerial photo series was not taken by drone. Lang was actually flying himself over the yard! The beverage industry is one of the biggest in Germany, employing over 60,000 workers spanning over 500 companies. Lang says the crates remind him of graphs or the vintage computer game Tetris.
As you can probably already tell, Lang is mainly interested in industrial views. Who knew they can be found near the beach as well? In this series of photos, he documents the aquaculture industry in Greece. After olive oil, it is one of their largest agricultural exports and a prominent supporting pillar of the country's economy.
