Lesser Known Works of Art Found in the Louvre

Welcome to the Louvre, the largest art museum in the world and the home of some of the greatest masterpieces created throughout history. This massive building, containing endless depictions of life, love, and war from every era, is one of the best sights to visit during a trip to Paris. We’re all probably familiar with these 3 famous pieces found in (and around) the Louvre, the first of which makes the Museum itself a work of art.

Ready to see these stunning masterpieces, I had the privilege to visit this incredible museum. When we made our way to the stunning structure, we were quite convinced we could do it in four hours. However, to truly enjoy the magnificence offered by the Louvre, you’ll need at least four days. With nearly 400,000 works of art on display, here are some real beauties that you may not have heard of!
