You've heard of the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad, but have you heard of the Air-Pod??
(We've included a demonstration video at the bottom of the page)
The idea of a car working on air is not new, but to make it commercially viable and affordable eluded companies, until today. An Indian car company has come up with an air car that would cost no more than $10,000!
With small size, a tiny price, zero pollution, fun and futuristic design, the AirPod marks a turning point in the range of urban vehicles while renewing the idea of the automobile and transportation.
But how much would it cost to fill the car? The approxmiate amount: 1 Euro of compressed air to fill a tank with 175 litres of air - enough for a 200km drive!
The airpod travels on 3 wheel and has space for three passengers. Top speed is limited to 80 km/h at the moment, perfect for an urban car that can also go on the roads.
The first commercially sold AirPod will roll off the assembly line as soon as next year, in France.
