The Summer Escape event also brings a lot of new changes and features to Fortnite, making the game more fun and festive. Here are some of the major changes and features you should know about:
Some of the Reality Augments have been switched on or off for the duration of the event. The Tracker's Armory Augment, which allowed you to see enemy health bars and loot rarity, has been turned off.
Instead, you can now use the Thermal Mud Augment, which gives you thermal vision when you step into mud, or the Icy Slide Augment, which makes you slide faster on ice.
2. Weapons:
Some of the weapons have also been changed for the event. The Kinetic Boomerang, which could be thrown and retrieved, has been removed. In its place, you can now find the Sharp Tooth Shotgun, a powerful shotgun that can fire explosive rounds.
One of the most delicious features of the event is the return of the IceCream Cones. These tasty treats can be found all over the island, on the ground, in coolers, and in freezers. They come in different flavors, each with a different effect.
