One year ago, Jacob Laukaitis went on a strictly guided tour of North Korea, where they took away his passport, and didn’t allow him to do any exploring on his own. While there, he kept wondering what life was like in South Korea, which used to be the same country just 60 years ago. That’s why he decided to visit South Korea this year so that he could compare the two countries. Below you can see pictures that show the differences between life in both Koreas – the first picture is the South, while the second is the North.
