Introduction to Sound Healing and Instrumental Sound Baths

Welcome to the revitalizing space of sound healing or sound baths. Sounds and vibrations have been used by humanity to inspire calm and tranquility since before we could communicate verbally as a species. A mother trying to soothe her baby will intuitively start humming, right? It's a primordial way to transfer energy without words.

This playlist will introduce you to the instruments we use today to create calming sound baths. You will enjoy the frequencies of singing bowls, seed shakers, rain sticks, chimes, bells, kalimbas, tuning forks, gongs, and different types of drums. Some of these are meant to create deep frequencies that physically melt tension in the muscles, whereas others give a tingling sensation to the shallow layers of your skin. To enjoy these healing physical sensations, use your best headphones.

Some frequencies, like 528Hz and 432Hz (created by tuning forks), are meant to repair the DNA and tune you into the inherent frequency of the earth itself. Other instruments, like the Koshi chimes, are designed using mathematical equations to summon the elements into your body - fire, earth, water, and air.

Some videos are longer, and others are shorter. Most offer pure sound baths, while some incorporate speech-guided meditations. We invite you to enjoy this playlist as an introductory buffet to sound baths and sound healing.
