Honey Sriracha Sauce

Sriracha sauce is a famous Thai condiment that's used to enhance the flavor of soup and stews but also as a dip for fried foods. This recipe adds a little sweetness to the traditional spicy sriracha sauce. It's super simple to make and will work best as a glaze for chicken, meatballs, fish, and pork, but it will also complement your pizza and pasta dishes.

Ingredients for Honey Sriracha Sauce:
Garlic - 1 tbsp. (minced)
Oil - 1 tsp.
Sriracha sauce - 1/4 cup
Honey - 1/2 cup
Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
Rice vinegar - 1 tbsp.
Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
Method of preparing the Honey Sriracha Sauce:
  1. Heat garlic with oil in a saucepan on medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and let it come to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes and keep stirring. By now, it should have have a nice glaze consistency.
  3. Let it cool for a few minutes. As it cools, the sauce will thicken and get spicier.
