Cranberry Sauce With Mandarin Oranges

This mandarin orange cranberry sauce will be the star of your holiday dinner. The combination of honey-sweetened cranberries with mini mandarin oranges doesn't just look beautiful but is also super tasty. Your guests will love this, we promise. 

Note: This mandarin orange cranberry sauce will keep well for at least a week in your fridge.

Ingredients for Cranberry Sauce With Mandarin Oranges:
Mandarin oranges - 10 (mini) (peeled)
Cranberries - 12 oz.(340g) (fresh or frozen)
Honey - 1 cup
Bourbon - 1/4 cup
Method of preparing the Cranberry Sauce With Mandarin Oranges:
  1. Set 6 peeled oranges aside whole. Separate the remaining oranges into segments.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, the cranberries, honey, and bourbon and bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Lower heat to medium for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the whole mandarins and the segments to the pot. Stir them in carefully. Simmer for 5 minutes more then remove the pot from the heat.
  5. Allow the cranberry sauce to cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to a jar.
Chef's Tip:
If you don't have or don't want to use bourbon, simply sub water.
