Ingredients for dish:
Spaghetti - 1 16 oz. package (Spaghettini works as well)
Food coloring - as needed (orange and purple)
Black olives - 12, pitted
Green olives - 12, pitted
Olive oil - 1/4 cup, 1 tbsp.
Italian seasoning - 1/4 tsp.
Garlic powder - 1/4 tsp.
Salt and Pepper - as needed
Mozzarella - 12 balls
Method of preparing the dish:
  1. Cook the spaghetti in 2 separate pots, each with a dash of food coloring. We suggested purple and orange for the spooky Halloween spirit, but you use any color you want.
  2. To make the mozzarella-olives eyeballs, you'll need a steady hand with the knife. Slice off the ends of each green olive. Slice the black olives along the middle, so you have 2 oval halves.
  3. Using a drinking straw, poke tiny circles in the black olives. These will be the pupils of the eyes. Place them in the middle of your green olive circles, which will be the iris of the eye.
  4. Slice off a small portion of each mozzarella ball to make one flat end and place the olives on it. Your eyeball is complete!
  5. Season the pasta with the rest of the ingredients and place the eyeballs on top to serve.
