Fudge Popsicles

Who can resist delicious chocolate-flavored bars? These easy-to-make fudge popsicles have the sophistication of a rich chocolate ice cream. These fudge pops have a velvety smooth texture and melt quickly, so make sure you enjoy them right out of the freezer.

Ingredients for Fudge Popsicles:
Chocolate chips - 2 tbsp.
Sugar - 1/3 cup
Cornstarch - 1 tbsp.
Sweetened cocoa powder - 1 1/2 tbsp.
Whole milk - 1 1/4 cups
Salt - a pinch
Vanilla Extract - 1/2 tsp.
Unsalted butter - 1/2 tbsp.
Method of preparing the Fudge Popsicles:
  1. Melt the chocolate chips over low flame. Add the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, milk and salt and raise heat to medium.
  2. Cook for 5-10 minutes, remove from heat, add butter and vanilla and stir.
  3. Pour it into the popsicle molds. Freeze for 30 minutes, then insert the popsicle sticks. Freeze for 6 hours more.
Chef's Tip:
Put in the fridge for a couple of hours before freezing. The crystals will be way smaller and the popsicles will be smoother.
