While we know that endangered animals are an important global issue, many can find it hard to bring the topic close to heart as animals in the jungle on the other side of the world can seem quite distant. With this in mind, photographer Tim Flach decided to photograph these animals in portraits that would bring these animals home to us. He decided to photograph the animals in stark black backdrops to allow the animals’ personalities to shine letting us connect with them more deeply. Take a look at this beautiful photo series aptly named Endangered, giving us a more intimate look on the world's endangered animals.
