Hawaii is the only state in the US located outside of the boundaries of North America and the only state that is an island state, encompassing nearly the entire Hawaiian archipelago, and consisting of 8 main islands and countless smaller ones. Hawaii, having the 4th longest coastline of all American States, is a land of beaches and white sands, with state-of-the-art first-class resorts, a rich authentic cuisine, and numerous other cultural attractions. Hawaii is also home to numerous National Parks, historic landscapes, and wildlife sanctuaries.
