The Detailed Art of Kiri Ken

Most of us may not think much about paper. We use it, reuse it and recycle it. But some people look at paper and see a whole other side to it. They perceive it to be a delicate canvas they can work with and a versatile medium for intricate art. One such artist who sees this original side to paper is Japanese artist Kiri Ken. Ken adapts themes from nature, as he slices fragile sheets into detailed shapes, lines and swirls, making each piece of work look like inked drawings.
