I just love listening to my favorite pop records from the sixties, and those performed by British groups and singers will always have a special place in my heart - but I never knew just how many of these superbly crafted pop hits were from the UK! By 1965 the British Invasion was nearly complete, when at one point 9 of the top 10 billboard charts were from the United Kingdom and a whopping 50% of all top 100 tracks for that year were British too.
