Africa. The 'Dark Continent'. Africa is the seconds largest continent, as well as the seocnd most populated. About 15% of the world's population reside in Africa. But unfortuantely, they face many problems: poverty, disease, lack of clean resources, lack of housing and violent, bloodthirsty regimes. Africa has been a troubled continent for many years, and although many countries and aid organizations try to help the people of Africa use the rich natural resources available in that country. Because of these problems, not many people go to visit Africa, although it does have a lot of fascinating and beautiful things about it. |
