Who doesn't love a good brownie? This deliciously rich chocolate brownie is easy to make and is a treat for cake lovers. These brownies will be perfect for those holiday get-togethers at home or if you have a bunch of kids coming over during the weekend.
Method of preparing the Chocolate Caramel Brownie:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Combine cake mix and nuts in a large bowl. Stir in 2/3 cup evaporated milk and butter (batter will be thick). Spread half of the batter into an ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake for 15 minutes. Heat caramels and remaining evaporated milk in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the brownie; drizzle with caramel mixture.
Pour the rest of the brownie batter on top and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan on wire rack.
