In its sixth edition, this year's Milky Way Photographer of the Year attracted more than 3,000 submissions from talented photographers worldwide. The entries depicted awe-inspiring landscapes, ranging from deserts and glaciers to mountains and beaches, captured in locations such as Namibia, Chile, Japan, Spain, Iran, and New Zealand.
