Photographer Derrick Lin captures the minute details of everyday life through his miniature worlds. His charming dioramas reflect life’s sublime and relaxing moments – each scenario is smartly created by using an array of miniature figures, desktop objects, desk lighting, and a smartphone.
Derrick likes to show the many quiet colors of life through his works, which are sometimes reflective and, at times, quite humorous. Some of his popular scenes include tiny figures passing along a sidewalk lined with cherry blossom trees, a recreation of Edward Hopper’s “Nighthawks”, and a man and his dog sharing a quiet moment.
