The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is one of the Western world's most recognizable paintings. It was commissioned in 1495 by the Duke of Milan at the time, Ludovico Sforza. To this day, it remains one of the most popular reproductions, as well as an inspiration to countless other paintings, photographs, pop culture and more.
