Ingredients for meringues:
Egg white - 4
Tartar cream - 1/2 tsp.
White sugar - 1 cup
Icing sugar - as needed (black is best)
Method of preparing the meringues:
  1. Preheat the oven to 225°F. Whip the egg whites to a frothy consistency, using an electric mixer. Add sugar, followed by the cream of tartar, and mix. Whip this mixture in the same way, until it gets stiff.
  2. Place the meringue mixture into an icing bag. Lay a sheet of foil, sprayed over by non-stick spray. Squeeze the meringue mixture onto the foil, and by moving your arms slightly up and down, create layered stacks for your ghosts' bodies. Bake your ghost meringues for about 45 minutes, until they harden.
  3. Use the black gel frosting to give your ghosts a face.
