One of the hardest things about being a parent (and there are many), is dealing with bored children, who roam around the house, producing equal amounts of noise and irritation for the parent trying to get something done, or even just a few minutes of peace and quiet. A great solution to this problem is designing their room in such a way, that they love staying in it! And not only stay, but invite a jealous friend to join in on the fun, thus leaving two sets of parents free to have some grown-up conversations. Studies show that kids who spend time playing develop better cognitive skills as well as social skills. So get them off that computer, and into a game room! |
